During the Chelsea v Man Utd match on the 21st September 2008, the new Blue Flag, designed by myself, made its debut. The flag, exclusive to Stamford Bridge, will be flown at most Chelsea home matches. It mesaures an impressive 100ft by 50ft, dwarfing the previous Blue Flag released last season, which in turn will move to the Shed End.

A brand new MS Excel spreadsheet has been developed so you can keep track of Chelsea’s 2008-09 season. Fill in the matches as the season progresses, and you can find out a whole array of various statistics in both tabular and graphical form.

Examples of the statistics calculated, on both the players and team as a whole, include player appearances, goals and assists, time spent on the pitch, number of games won, drawn and lost and much, much more.
